C6 Corvette Speculation - CorvetteForum and Other On Line Artists
These are not from a big time magazine but are intriguing, and possibly more accurate, none the less.

One Good Idea

3-21-03 Above - Let's see - if we take a C5 and combine it with the 2001 GM Tiger Shark show car then add some fixed headlights, a little different side treatment and a changed rear shape what would we get......?

jujubee

2-16-03 Red Car Above - CorvetteForum from Code Name "jujubee" -
"Ok, guys....I've been tired of listening to everyone guessing what the new c6 will look like. Due to the fact that I am a GM employee I cannot disclose my true identity. I have used Adobe Photoshop to render this photo to look as close to the new C6 as possible. For those of you wish not to believe this then this is your own choice.......take a look cause this pic may not be up there long."

2-26-03 Yellow Car Above - CorvetteForum from Code Name "jujubee" - "THIS IS WHAT I THINK THE C6 WILL LOOK LIKE! "

2-21-03 CorvetteForum from Code Name "jujubee" -
"This is an image of the new c6 emblem that I rendered in Adobe Photoshop from what I have seen. Once again!!!! this is a rendering, not the actual pic!!! I have modified the c5 emblem to what I saw. This is almost 100% right on. I will be also rendering a new pic of the c6 due to the criticism I have received on my first post."

2-21-03 Corvette Forum - From Code Name "Ambassador" - "Just for the record capit and myself have no ties to the one here that goes by the name jujubee. As capit said his renderings are very close to the real thing. In my opinion jujubee or an acquaintance must have access to one of the c6 moch-up areas. At first I was not really convinced because of the car that he rendered looked like something anyone else on the forum could have come up with due to all the bits and pieces of info floating around, but after seeing the rendering of the c5 badge to c6 there is no way that someone just comes up with that without information being leaked from an inside source because its to close to the real thing. As for the side vents they are similar to a lot of the renderings floating around the web and look great with the new look of the c6. I can tell you this much without spilling any vital info or direct specifics. It still has the characteristics of a c5 but every panel on the car is new except maybe the mirrors and front windshield, and interior is completely revamped. They have not ruined the Corvette but only made it better once again. Keep your eyes open, their should be some test mules masked up out and about starting this month. You will see them soon enough, the auto show is only 10 months away."

Ja Witcombe

10-29-02 Above - Ja did some very feasible speculation on CorvetteForum.com

Above 06-04-03 - From Ja - "I think it was last October that I did this one.  Anyways, I'm seeing a lot of similarities between what's coming out (spy C6's) and my earlier concepts, so I thought I might include this one for inclusion on your speculation site."

Above 06-04-03 - From Ja "....here is a quick photochop version of the new Road and Track C6 picture, encompassing some of my earlier ideas and what we can see in the spy pictures."

Patrick Gramm

11-15-02 above and 11-24-02 below. Patrick Gramm, the CorvetteForum's resident Photoshop genius, did both!

12-15-02 Above -  Patrick Gramm did a very ambitious project - he let the CorvetteForum members help design a C6! He started with the one on the left and, with member ideas, evolved to the one on the right. Which one do you like?

12-31-03 Above - Patrick ended the year with this proposal for the C6

1-6-03 Above - Patrick was inspired by the Chevrolet SS which many believe showed some C6 clues

3-18-03 - Patrick has an excellent web site with many more examples of his outstanding art and C6 speculation including a clever 2005 Corvette brochure. Click here for the latest.

5-30-03 Above - Patrick has gotten back into the photchop biz big time after seeing the latest spy pix.

07-01-03 Above - Patrick has been watching the spy pictures unfold.

07-06-03 Above - Patrick has added a convertible and a front view.

Ted Krygier

Above added 11-17-2002  Another talented artist checks in!

2-28-03 Above - Ted sent another great pic for consideration.

5-20-03 Above - Ted is keeping up with the latest spy pics and has updated his speculation accordingly.

10-15-03 Above - A front view by Ted incorporating the latest spy pics.

Check out all of Ted's latest art by clicking HERE.

Kyle Teichert

Kyle Teichert put this on the CorvetteForum.com
October 4, 2002. It is a tweaked Cadillac Cien V-12 show car:

Very clever!

ToddZ06

12-26-02 This has been kicking around for a while. I added it from the "Corvette Action Center" Forum. They said it was done by "ToddZ06". Just a little extreme for a production Corvette but intriguing none-the-less. The Grand Sport paint scheme looks great!

Brian Kuper

1-6-03 Above - Brian did a serious study of 4 generations in this December, 2002 series.

1-10-03 Above - Brian added some further tweaks to the Jim Holmes (see further down the page) C6 interpretation of the SS Chevrolet.

1-24-03 Above -
Brian's sensational yellow convertible C6!

1-24-03 Above -
Brian's blue Z06 idea

1-27-03 Above - A C6 in 50th Anniversary trim by Brian!
Was this the original plan by GM?

1-30-03 Above Left -
Don't like the Road & Track Solstice-based C6 speculation on the right? Check out Brian's version on the left!

4-5-03 Above - Brian first did a tweak of the jujubee speculation then did his own version from the same starting point used by jujubee. I like his interpretation of the rear quarter better than jujubee's.

4-28-03 Above - Brian is paying attention to what he sees and is closing in on the real thing!

Above 6-27-03 - Brian's latest photochop of the rear with the "V" configuration. The interim versions of Brian's speculation are now here

Above August 21, 2003 - Using a rear shot by a Detroit commuter, Brian did this origami version. Very creative!

Above - September 16, 2003 - Using a rear shot by some Michigan Jeepers, Brian did 3 versions. This is the final one. The others are are here.

Above - October 20, 2003 - Brian decided to have another go at the Jeeper shot.

Above - September 18, 2003 - Brian gave the ChroomenVlammen version a full width mouth. I lightened it a little so you can see it better.

3-18-03 - Brian has many more examples of his outstanding art and C6 speculation on this web site: Click here for his complete gallery.

Karl Jumblatt

1-6-03 Above - Karl posted this speculation on the CorvetteForum. It was triggered by the SS Chevrolet at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show

August 14, 2003 Above - Karl also posted this speculation on the CorvetteForum. He is another talented teen that is trying hard to learn the Photoshop tricks. Nice job!

Deep Throat

2-4-03 Above Left  - A modification of the AutoWeek art (Right) by "Deep Throat" of www.lovecars.com

Jason Godsil

2-2002 (Added 2-20-03) Above - Somehow these exceptional drawings were missed in my continuing search for all the C6 Speculation. Although the evidence weighs heavily against a mid-engine C6, Jason showed us what we will be missing.

7-2002 (Added 2-20-03) Above - Another early speculation by Jason.

1-2003 (Added 2-20-03) Above - Jason took his shot at a two-seat version of the Chevrolet SS concept. He also gave it a new name - the Chevrolet Cheetah.

Unknown

2-19-03 Above - Another one that has been around for a while but was just mentioned again on CorvetteForum.

Daniel Kuhlmeyer

5-23-03 Above - "Turbojett" ( Daniel Kuhlmeyer)  from AutomobileForum.com apparently did these in March, 2003 before the spy photos were shown. He has many more great concepts here

Jim Holmes

About 1-8-03 Above -  Jim Holmes did an early SS/C6 speculation.
5-28-03 Above - JIm sent me this very nicely rendered and clean C6 speculation. He will have some enthusiastic supporters for the orange paint!

Robert Hayes

6-5-03 Above -  Robert Hayes "came bearing gifts" as a new member of the CorvetteForum. He based his C6 speculation on the Cadillac XLR.

Adam Thomas

07-01-03 Above - My apologies to the a
rtist - I lost track of the details behind your creation. I'll update if you send me the facts.

Adam Hudson

07-13-03 Above

Above 07-14-03 - "Loggins" - a teen member of CorvetteForum - has jumped on the "Photochop" band wagon. He is paying attention and learning from some of the more experienced choppers. Our future is in good hands.

Above - 08-27-03 Adam was first with a complete cleanup of the Michigan Jeeper spy shots.

Above - 10-20-03 Adam leads the pack again with a speculation based on the shots from Germany.

C6 Corvette Speculation - James Shanta

Above - 09-16-03 - James showed some excellent artistic talent when he removed the bra from the "Official" GM photo. He left the "loaded diaper" on the rear.

Above - 10-11-03 - Three more approaches by James.
