The second year - 2002 Activities

January, 2002

Above - Just like December we have been out driving every few days - including January 22, 2002 in 50 degree temperatures!!

And finally - SPRING TIME 2002!!

Above - Hold on a minute -  it's March 25th. Spring is 4 days old - what is this??
No hot laps today!!

Above - April 20 - The season kicks off with a Fort Wayne Corvette Club show and shine at the Jefferson Pointe shopping center. After sweating through a 85 degree day on Friday to clean the car, the show day on Saturday was a blustery 40's and low 50's!

May 18 - Some show and tell at the local Corvette Museum during a Children's Hospital benefit car show.

June 9 - While it is cleaned up for a National Corvette Restorer's Society meet how about a quick photo shoot at a favorite location? (It is not quite eligible for NCRS judging. Maybe in 20 years or so.)

August 11 - On a 3 week tour to Monterey, California we made it to the Mother Road. More here.

2002-08-21 - On the way home from Monterey we had an interesting stop, also.  Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah.

October 31 - On a fall day with the leaves in full show-off mode, a little gratuitous consumption of fossil fuels, along with some time to capture the moment, seems almost mandatory.
