Above - Top left and bottom is a friction powered 1953 Pontiac that I bought new then customized within an inch of its life. It was painted bright green and black. The wire wheels were made by pushing cut off straight pins into the rubber tires.

Return with us now to way back when. My modeling career started in about 1949.
Above - Top left and bottom is a friction powered 1953 Pontiac that I bought new
then customized within an inch of its life. It was painted bright green and
black. The wire wheels were made by pushing cut off straight pins into the
rubber tires.
In the top middle is a stock 1954 Buick - white over medium blue - that did get mildly customized eventually.
Top right is a 1949 Ford balsa kit - radically altered into a 3 seat roadster. More details HERE.
