Cars and Trucks Owned - Then and Now

Above - 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe Styleline Station Wagon 4-door, Tan with
Wood-Appearance Decal trim, Powerglide, 235 6-cylinder, 105 hp, Real Wood Interior
(Dad bought it used and it is the car in which I learned to drive. I got my
license on February 7, 1955.)

Above - 1950 Chevrolet Coupe - The first car I owned - 1957. It met a sad
end and almost took me with it. (Internet photos, my car had a dark green roof,
blackwalls and no cattle guard on the front or rear bumper.)

Above - 1956 Chevrolet 210 4-door, Pinecrest Green, Column Shift 3-speed, 265
V-8, 205 hp Power Pack, Two-tone Green Interior
- I owned it from about June, 1959 to July, 1963 (Dad bought it new and I was
able to talk him into the stick and Power Pack because the wagon had been such a
dog.)

Above - 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6
- My first sports car, yes, it was red - I owned it from about July, 1963 until
I wrapped it around a light pole in October, 1963 (Magazine photo of an
identical
car)

Above - 1955 Chevrolet 210 2-door - After bashing the Healey, I picked up
a $300, Powerglide, 2-bbl V-8 Chevy and drove it while saving for my real dream
(shown below) - I owned the '55 from
October, 1963 to March, 1964 (Internet photo of a very similar repaint blue car but I
had stock wheels)

- the dream car - owned from March, 1964 to October, 1966. Then, the classic
story; a pregnant wife and new home being built led to a string of more practical cars,
including......

1970 to about 1973 - We had a 1970 Plymouth
Satellite Wagon - Yellow, 383 2-bbl, auto, all the family stuff and none of the
Roadrunner stuff on the one above. It was failure prone.

Above - 1963 Ferrari 250GTE - We enjoyed the V-12 sound from January 1981 to
September 1995. Our 14-year-old daughter learned to drive in this car. She has
never met anyone else that took driver's ed in a V-12 Ferrari!

Above in the '80's - Indy - Mine, Lee's 275 GTB Alloy, Lee's 250 GT Spyder California Alloy,
Ed's 365 GT 2+2
- I was fortunate enough to have driven them all - including laps around Road America
in the California Spyder!!

Above - 2008-01-19 - Another wagon from General Motors? Isn't this where I
started?
