CX Design Proposal

Above – In about 1963 Larry Shinoda drew what was said to be a Corvette mid-engine production proposal. It looked very much like the Chaparral 2D coupe. Considering that the driver is wearing a helmet, plus an almost complete lack of any road-going equipment, seem to indicate a pure race car.
