In the early 1964, Dr. Hans Feldmann built his first RC model car.
The special features of the model:
Motor 3.5 ccm (Taifun Bison glow igniter)
Remote control: Metz-Mecatron, 6 channels. 
Wheel suspension: front struts, rear triangular swingarms
Suspension: undamped coil springs
Planetary gear, differential (Editor note – No clutch mentioned)
Speed: 30 km/h
The construction costs in 1964 without motor and RC system were around 100 DM  (About US$ 980 in 2023)
