Housing the Little People Continues
Here is another shot of the homeless protest rally:

The second building to be installed was the farm house. It was purchased online in about May, 2009 as a new, pre-built and painted structure – Aristocraft 7203. We gambled on the color and lost…..
Above – June 30, 2009 – The foundation form is created.
Above – June 30, 2009 – Test fit.
Above – July 12, 2009 – Excavation and gravel fill.
Above – July 12, 2009 – Ready for the pour (really more of a stir, scoop and plop).
Above – July 12, 2009 – Foundation in place, ready to remove the form after the mortar sets.
Above – July 13, 2009 – The house is screwed to the treated boards.
Above – July 13, 2009 – The fill dirt is, unfortunately, not to scale…..
Above – July 13, 2009 – …..so, back to the mud pie fun.
Above – July 15, 2009 – The farm house on a rainy day. This splashed-on dirt is a little out-of-scale, too.
Future – The plants, people and animals are next.
And here they are now….
Above – August 22, 2011 – Two years have passed and it is Club open house night; the plants, people, curtains, basement windows, and steps are here. Grandma's International KB-1 pickup is ready for a trip to the store.
Above – August 22, 2011 – Out back, the vegetable garden, a hose, steps and an electric meter (of which I am particularly proud).
Above – August 22, 2011 – And lights!
