The Gazebo
The Frankfort folks need some spirit-lifting entertainment, so the city fathers provided the place. It is a Piko 1062012 Gazebo plastic kit:
Above – Piko publicity photo. I didn't think it looked right sitting on the ground, so I invented a technique to make a base for it. Follow along on these pages to see what I did:

Building the Kit
Above – August 21, 2009 – Parts laid out and construction underway.
Above – August 21, 2009 – Making progress. The Frankfort Symphony orchestra is already trying it out…….
Above – August 28, 2009 – The gazebo structure is complete and some thought is given to how a base can be made. Here was one idea (the shiny thing underneath – what is that?).
