Final Run 2012

An 80 degree day in late October means running trains, as well as, a chance to test the front  porch Santa Train. Christmas is exactly 2 months away. Having been out of commission personally for several weeks, the some of the track had disappeared under a layer of ground cover. A pleasant afternoon with the garden clippers, one pass with the drywall sander/track cleaner, a trip to the basement to bring up the power supply, a couple of minutes with a loose track power connection and we were under way. Santa, FRED and the helper elf enjoyed the ride:
