After a successful debut in 2007, the Santa Train was back with two big changes and some fine tuning for 2008. 

One big change was the addition of locomotive sound (see video at the bottom of the page). It was fun but as a battery powered system, the 9 volt batteries didn’t last long, so this was the only year for sounds. Maybe some day…

The other big news for 2008 was moving the motion detector sensor from the gold control box up to the top of a porch pillar.
