Wherein the big kid finds a detailed history of life along the Tanana and Yukon rivers as it was back in the early 1900’s. And it was told using a number of amazing 1:87 scale dioramas. These dioramas were housed in the National Landmark SS Nenana. It is the largest stern-wheeler ever built west of the Mississippi and the second largest wooden vessel in existence. They have determined that the best way to preserve a wooden boat is to keep it out of the water.
