Radio Controlled Model Cars – The Ferrari F103

The car that got me back into RC after a 25 year layoff.

Above – June 5, 2012 – Not bad for a 17-year-old that has been run hard and put away wet too many times

Above – June 25, 2012 – Not a grandkid incident; Grandpa was the one who bounced off the neighbor’s stone decoration and destroyed the molded rear axle mount.

Below – Fancy new (purple!) aluminum mount replaced the plastic one.

Then a second car appeared….

Above six pictures – September 1, 2012 – Ready for a comparison drive with the newly finished ‘Team USA’ F103. Not surprising, the new Team USA was faster, but not by much.
