Above – June 20, 2004 – A closer shot the same day. The first look at the fender flares.

Above – September 30, 2004 – A shot from Yahoo.

Above – October 12, 2004 – Autoweek shot – the nose is not disguised, the tail is not covered, the scoop behind the door is not there and the wheels are different. What is it?
.jpg)
Above – October 19, 2004 – Two Z06 test mules. Lots of details to ponder.
.jpg)
Above – October 22, 2004 – Several pictures from a Czechoslovakian (?!?!!??) web site. Quote: “Nová, tentokrát u está generace americké klasiky Chevrolet Corvette byla představena na letoním detroitském autosalonu.”

Above – October 22, 2004 – He knows he’s been got!
.jpg)
Above – October 22, 2004 – I wondered why the photog didn’t shoot the inside on this parked mule – then I noticed the brake lights on. The driver was leaving, apparently.
.jpg)
Above – October 22, 2004 – Yep, he left. There were some rumors of euro-amber turn signals but this pick seems to refute that since the left turn lights are red.

Above – October 22, 2004 – Is there a rear deck spoiler? Or just camo? See below for a current production car.

Above – What are they covering up?

Above – November 8, 2004 – A great shot by Chris Doane to Brenda Priddy then posted by Patrick of digitalcorvettes.com .

Above – First released November 9, 2004 – Then, on November 10, 2004, GM asked several commercial sites to remove this picture. Must be important.

Above – December 1, 2004 – Not much but new at least – from AutoCar.

Magazine Pictures – 2006 Corvette Z06 – Early Release

Above 10 pictures – December 22, 2004 – As a subscriber to “Magazine Corvette”, I assume I will only be reading history articles from them in the future. The very early release of this article on the internet and their slow reaction time and piecemeal removal will certainly assure that they are never again invited to a GM long lead press preview.
